This month I have gone back to the old strategy of recycling when needed. Just to remind you, I recycle referrals as follows:
If a referral has an average click rate of less than 1.5 clicks per day, then recycle them after 5 days of inactivity.
If a referral has an average click rate of 1.5 or greater click per day, then recycle them after 7 days of inactivity.
As you can see from the above chart (you can click on it to enlarge it), I have done a fair amount of recycling this month spending 93 neopoints each time for a grand total of 651 points for the month. I have used neopoints because they are free and I guess that it really effectively costs me nothing to recycle the inactive referrals. My neopoints balance is starting to go down in an alarming rate with this strategy, but I will stick with it until I have run out of points.
By the end of the month I had 250 clicks, which gives me an earning of 250*$0.005 = $1.25. Now we must subtract the rental cost of $0.19 per referral, $0.19*6 = $1.14 and $1.25-$1.14 gives me a profit of $0.11. So eleven cents of profit. Still worth while, I would expect me profit to be around $0.16 if I rented another 3 referrals. Which is exactly what I am going to do next month. Will let you know how it works out next month, but so far I am profiting.
